Teaching philosophy

One breath. The whole body.

"One breath" is the root of the practice. Before we learn a whole form, we find the breath, the body's position, and the thread that connects each movement to the next.

Master Li has taught for over twenty years. Her teaching is slow, steady, and clear. Every class begins with standing practice, so the body may settle before it moves.

What students say

How they practice.

After six months my sleep is better and my shoulders and neck have softened. I can rewatch the videos any time — perfect for a busy office worker.

Master Li teaches in great detail. She explains why every movement is done a certain way, so you understand rather than just imitate.

Mr. Chen

I thought tai chi would be boring. Turns out there is a whole universe inside. Slowly, the feeling of the body emerges.
